<div id="subtitle">17 years into singing career, reggaeton star Daddy Yankee says he is taking music classes</div><div><p>Reggaeton singer Daddy Yankee has told a Mexican newspaper that he's taking music classes — 17 years after he started his career.</p><p>The Puerto Rican star says he has been taking classes on keyboards and expects to graduate in another year and a half.</p><p>Daddy Yankee tells the newspaper El Universal in a story published Tuesday that he once started music study but dropped it. He says he started up again a few years ago.</p><p>He says the formal studies have influenced his performances. "Before, I had to hum the melody to my producers; now I can play it on the keyboard and I feel comfortable, accomplished," he says.</p><p>The artist's real name is Ramon Ayala and he is best known for his song "Gasolina."</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=63094040&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
